Elements papers are made from pure rice pressed ultra-thin. The key difference from hemp or wood pulp papers is the ash — or rather, the lack of it. Rice burns with almost zero residue. The only ash you'll see is from your herb itself. If you're a flavour purist, this is where it's at.
Wind Power and Sugar Gum
These are made in Alcoy, Spain — the birthplace of rolling papers — using 100% wind power. The watermark ensures an even burn, and the adhesive is natural sugar gum that caramelises as it burns. No chemical taste, no weird aftertaste, just clean paper doing its job and getting out of the way of your herb.
The One Thing to Know
Rice paper is ultra-thin and smooth, so it can be a bit slick to roll at first. The sugar gum is delicate too — a light lick is all you need. Get it too wet and it won't stick. But roll it right, and you get the cleanest flavour profile on the market. £5.20 for a pack that lasts ages.
